What we do — and don't — keep

• The words you type or say (the voice recording is turned into text; the audio itself is not kept)
• Which of the 15 community areas your input relates to
• The town it applies to and the date
• An AI reading of the tone (problem, strength, or neutral) and how urgent it seems

• Your name
• Your phone number or email (for Rural Health Score voices)
• Any login or account — none is required to add your voice
• Your device location or an identifier that links posts back to you

Note: the Community Exchange is different. If you post a request for help there, you choose a display name and may add a contact detail so neighbours can reach you — that is shown publicly by design. The Rural Health Score voices described above stay anonymous.

When you add a voice, your text is sent to a language model for one narrow job: to decide which community area it relates to, whether it reads as a problem or a strength, and how urgent it is. That reading becomes a small, anonymous nudge to a score.

The AI is not building a profile of you. Because nothing identifying is stored with your words, your input cannot be traced back to you or used to contact you.

Aggregated, anonymous scores help councils and services see where a community needs attention earlier than they otherwise would. Data may be summarised into briefings and regional reports, always in aggregate — never as individual submissions tied to a person.
